kara and lee, Battlestar Galactica  


Yeah, so I'm using picspams as a way to soothe the torture that is thesis writing. Its staving off anxiety. Picspams and earl grey tea. I'm also using this post as a way of declaring my undying love for Kara and Lee and Battlestar Galactica.

[info]blueheronzI've finally found that pairing that ticks all those boxes and actually delivers and deals with its angst in a satisfying way (most of the time). But, seriously, its the most lovely, bittersweet, dysfunctional and unresolved tv relationship I've come across. They'll never replace House and Cameron, but they're on a par. It doesn't hurt that I think Lee "Apollo" Adama is just about the hottest thing going around, BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT.

I hope this peaks your interest.

crap  

I just spent the past 24hours d/ling Battlestar Gallactica. The first mini series. I was all psyched to begin another marathon tv obsession and then I pressed some stupid button and the whole thing disappeared!!!!!!  

I am so upset right now. It means I have to do actual work. 

On a happier note, I think I broke my House/Cameron ficathon story. As in, stepped on its neck and crushed it. 

Someone tell me everything's going to be ok *whimpers*

a confession  
So I ranted about how bad Private Practice was, right? Well guess who's been watching it every Sunday night? *cowers* 
I know, I know...I don't know what's happened to me but all of the sudden not only am I watching it - low and behold I'm shipping several of the characters! 
I'm concerned. 
Is it a bad sign when you actively search You Tube for montage vidoes about said characters? Don't answer that.

I want my life back  

*cries*

No really. I've resorted to listening to show tunes that's how jacked up I am on energy drinks and no sleep. Rufus does Judy Garland or something. Can anyone recommend some good study music? Or music that doesn't fuck with my mind like Red Bull and psychoanalysis does? The thought of facing several essays in a row in silence is...not an option.

Preferably not show tunes.
